Rushing as a sophomore

Can I rush as a sophomore and still receive a bid or is rushing known as a freshman thing? How common is it at Pitt? I am a transfer so I am curious.

i rushed last year as a sophomore and got a bid to my top choice and there were plenty of others sophomores in my pc
