Are pitt frats/sororities expensive

my friend told me her dues for her sorority (at a diff school) were $950 a month + room and board for the house. I really want to rush but that seems like a lot... Is it the same at Pitt? Do yall have to live in-house?

It’s really varies from each organization. I’d expect Pitt to be cheaper than most schools. Wherever you rush should be upfront on the costs before you join. Id say 500-600 is normal per semester

Depends on the chapter, but new member fees are normally twice as expensive for that first semester and then from then on they're normally $300-500 for each semester at Pitt.
