Anyone can get kicked off

Dear H2p: What you fail to understand is that it is highly unlikely the administration reads Greek Rank to determine who is 'on top' in order to decide who gets kicked off. More likely that those who perceive themselves as 'on top' Get arrogant and push the boundaries of what the administration will tolerate. The administration did not concoct the violations that got these 'top frats' removed. The frats did it to themselves. And as Ok wisely points out 'Anyone can get kicked off'. The administration would rather not kick anyone off. That only creates bad publicity; annoys alumni who donate; and panics parents who foot tuition bills. Think it through. You presumably were smart enough to get into Pitt.

Is it me or has Greek life here gotten really sad.

Yes, it has. And it will likely get worse now that Oakland now has more active security cameras in South and North Oakland (due to the awful and very sad murder of the Pitt student on Cable Street). It will be quite easy to surveil most streets, so plausible deniability may be a thing of the past. Best beware!
