post rush frat rankings (minus sig chi)

by:

Hey everyone, I'm about to enter literally my last semester of college and have been in a sorority for longer than most people!! These are some rankings based on what I've been hearing from my sisters and the other sororities on campus, have a great semester and Hail to Pitt!

1- PKP (Pi kappa phi)- With Sig Chi gone, I would say these boys are probably top house now. Good looking nice guys (def some weird ones too) with a great house. Well known on campus and throw great parties. Few creepers which can be turn offs but overall they are arguably numba 1. Welcome to the top :)
2- Sig ep (Sigma Phi Epsilon) – they also move up with sig chi gone, these guys love to party and have a good time. They are like PIKE (athletic, hot and a fun time) but are nicer. Lots of ex kappa sigs who were easily top house before they got kicked off. Still need a hill house but I am under the impression they are getting one soon. Need to be more involved with on campus events too like philanthropy bc they don't do that much.
3- PIKE (Pi Kappa Alpha)- they are back after being on so pro,…. Apparently they might get in trouble for something that happened recently but we’ll see. They are athletes and party hard. Throw arguably the best parties on campus (not many would disagree). Negative: lots of douches and are known to be a little “rapey” at parties. Still a controversial fraternity, I know lots of sororitys don’t feel comfortable mixing with them. I personally enjoy our mixers with them, 50/50 you got a stereotypical douche or cool nice guy. If they stay out of trouble they could move up to 1 or 2.
4-Phi Delt/Beta- they hover around the upper middle tier. Do a good job maintaining but need to start trying to move up. Beta has lots of respectful cute guys but don’t party enough. Phi delt parties a good amount but 25% guys give me weird vibes. The other 75% are great and fun to talk to/mix with….. no hill house. Both brotherhoods seem solid.
5-PKT (Phi Kappa Theta)- Off so pro now, will be interesting to see where they go after this semester. I can see these boys climbing the ranks if they throw great parties and fun mixers. They have a hill house and I wanna see them use it more. Boys aren't too good looking but they have their days
6-Delta Sigma Phi / D Chi- middle level frats at Pitt. D chi is probably lower middle, theyre reputation has been going down every year. They do host the highest GPA out of all the frats and for some reason that’s a turnoff to some girls. I respect it but they def need to party more, a new girl in my sorority thought they were an academic frat, that’s not good. D Sig is doing pretty well, I like their house and parties but the brothers aren’t too enjoyable to talk to.
7- SAMMY (Sigma Alpha Mu)- would like to see them use their hill house more. Otherwise should give it up
Alpha Tau Omega/Sigma Alpha Epsilon- throw decent south o parties, don’t know much
Triangle/Delta Phi/FIJI/ZBT/Pi Lam/Alpha Epsilon Pi/TKE- Great new fraternities with lots of potential, but few members. Wish you Guys the best :)

Sig Chi- obvi were top house, lots of hot guys but due to a recent incident I was told that they will either be kicked off or get anywhere from a year to two years of social probation. Sad bc they were one of my favs
