sorority informal rush

Do sororities who hold informal recruitment in the fall still have a preference for sophomores? What are the odds of getting invited to the invite only events as a junior?

This depends on whether a sorority's national headquarters allows them to recruit juniors or not (bc some aren't allowed to). but i know some juniors who were given bids during formal rush in the spring
