After going to multiple events for a few frats I can honestly say that sigma chi is my top choice. They seem to have it all and I'm honestly finding it hard to find reasons to rush anywhere else

Just because they were on probation, doesn't make these guys irrelevant. They are still easily top teir and anyone who says otherwise is full of it

Not nearly as upper class as they seem, especially compared to some other chapters in the state. I visited a friend at Pitt over spring break and I must say that this chapter needs to step it up... a lot. Stop acting like pigs around women, stop obtaining your outfits from T.J. Maxx, and you should all know that buying Hennessy V.S. is a sin. For God's sake stop ruining the fraternity name. Regards, Someone who doesn't need to pretend to be rich

Why does being an alumni give you any insight to what Sigma Chi is like now (see below)? They're classless and give the rest of the Greek community a bad name. They are rapidly destroying any status they have had on campus historically...Goes to show you just how far they've fallen..

As a Pitt alum (not a SigChi) I say this to the negative comments posted: I have lifelong SigChi friends, all of whom are respectable, intelligent, & involved community members. I recall that these same men lived life to the fullest - committed to academics, fundraising, sports, University projects, the Pgh community. So they had great parties - which your dads, brothers, and wives probably attended. Stop the bashing and gain some respect for the current Sigma Chi brothers ... and yourself !

Rush ! Gotta say, these guys are the best I've interviewed with. Serious about their mission at Pitt, keepin' the grades, had a blast at the paintball games, can't wait to be part of this brotherhood. I've heard from my cousin that the sisters are big fans of Sigma Chi, too. 'nuf said.
