Entering the haas completely changed my perspective on life as it is the greatest establishment at the University of Pittsburgh since the construction of the Cathedral of Learning in 1926. Oh Pike, what would I ever do without you.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Pittsburgh - UPITT 4.9 Went to the “haas” for the first time on Friday. Coming to school and rushing I had heard the pike guys are awful, but they couldn’t be more wrong. The brothers I meet were very welcoming and funny. Some of the pledges I know are extremely good kids as well. Will definitely be going back with my friends this weekend. Excited to meet some more of the guys, I’m glad my pref is friends with some of the brothers as well!

Went to the “haas” for the first time on Friday. Coming to school and rushing I had heard the pike guys are awful, but they couldn’t be more wrong. The brothers I meet were very welcoming and funny. None of my friends and I feel safe around them, stories about them stuff the guys do to girls is crazy. Do better on your brotherhood and how your guys treat women.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Pittsburgh - UPITT 4.4 Have been seeing pikes post their rush schedule. Honestly good for them that they are back. 100% best parties on the hill, but can be overwhelming at first. Once you meet and get to know the guys they will get you beer dance with you and just have fun. Very close brotherhood from what I can tell they all seem to get along and are always there early and stay late. Would recommend taking a look if you are rushing, some kids do come off a bit douchy but that’s fraternity life for you

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Pittsburgh - UPITT 4.0 I rushed these guys last fall. Good group of guys, some more interesting than others, but overall decent guys. The rush events were chill and it all seemed good until their invite only event. Of the more interesting guys, this chubby kid, who some of the guys called “titts” or something like that, pulled me to the side and said I needed to gobble down “the haas special” to get a bid. I declined and decided not to continue rush. Good group of guys though.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Pittsburgh - UPITT 2.5 I feel nervous about posting this, but here goes. I was in the Pike house last semester and one of the brothers approached me at one of their parties. At first, I thought he was kind of cute and was being kind but then he asked a question that frazzled my brain. Out of nowhere, he asked “is it pink?” I stood there absolutely flabbergasted as he walked away giggling to himself. Not sure if others have had weird experiences like this but I certainly don’t think that I’m alone. He proceeded to walk over to the other pikes then they all started to slap him on the back, and then something even more shocking happened. He started to griddy in the middle of the dance floor as the other brothers jumped up and down around him like children. One of weirdest experiences I’ve ever had at a frat house.
