phi mu?

by: Curious

I know Phi Mu was here but closed around 2007. Any chance we could bring them back? They're pretty strong at the national level and interest in sororities seems to be on the rise. Thoughts?

I think Helen Dragas owns the old house.

Then there was that group that claimed to re-starting Phi Mu but got shut down and morphed into something strange and then became (or maybe did not) what's called Nu Iota Omega.

I would LOVE for Phi Mu to return. I think we need another sorority with a strong national reputation. A D1 sorority...not a D3...

Start a interest group and then reach out to nationals. They will know if there are enough alumni in the area to support an expansion.

I think it starts with the national office.

Did anyone ever look into this? If so, what was the outcome?

It's happening not this year but next year - 2019.

Until all the Sororities here are strong and making Quota consistently this will not happen. Additionally, 50% of PNMs here drop out of rush, which is a big red flag for other Nationals.
