murmuring sweet nothings into the void

Following my weekly Farmville triggered existential crisis, I couldn't help but notice on Facebook that both APhi and PiPhi abuse "Phi" based puns. While these puns destroy American families and weaken the resolve of our allies, the most troublesome part of this situation was the competition for better puns and unavoidable pun appropriation (punpropriation). So here is my musing to share with the morally dysfunctional succubi that also browse GreekRank: An annual co-philanthropy centered on pun submission and writing to harvest the most culturally relevant and clever puns. The evening ends with a best 3 out of 5 series of pegball (playing UK rules, because obviously). Winner gets to pick best puns from the years submission pool, loser has to mix with the Honor Committee and ask at least 15 questions throughout the evening concerning the Honor Code to ensure that they will not steal any of the winner's puns.
