how important is gpa for rush?

my gpa this semester is not good and i was wondering how seriously this will impact my chances for rush? will i automatically be cut if i don't have the minimum gpa? also do they round?

I don't know for sure about rounding but yes they will automatically cut you :( they don't really have a choice.

somebody told me that you need at least a 2.4 to be considered at all, but pi phi and chi o have 2.0 as their minimum gpa. if i have between a 2.0 and 2.4 would i still have a shot with them?

Honestly probably not. Even if that's their minimum that means you can only get into 2 houses, and it's hard to get your top pic anyway. And although that's the minimum, they want higher ones to bring up their average.
