tell me what they're like at uva
by: Pi PhiI may be interested in Pi Phi. I'm a legacy from out of state. Will that hurt my chances? I have good grades but not a 4.0. I have tons of activities. I Think I'm pretty cute but I'm not a Miss America or anything. What are my chances and what are the Pi Phis like?

Oh what's Pi Phi like? if only there was a website that had dozens of people's descriptions and opinions on pi phi at uva. but not just pi phi, but like, all the fraternities and sororities at uva. if only.
Now onto your other question: what are you chances? it comes down to 1) Attractiveness 2) Personality (rather, do you mesh well with the couple girls you talk to during rush moreso than the other girls they will talk to). GPA, hometown, extracurriculars are all irrelevant, essentially.

Probably a Pi Phi that doesn't like being a middle tier house, if you want my guess.

All of the sororities here are great. Pi Phi has some awesome girls. During rush, the most important thing is making ties and having good conversations with girls in the houses. Seriously, go with where you feel comfortable. Keep an open mind with Pi Phi and every other house. My favorite house from the first round was a house I hadn't even thought about before walking into through their door during rush.
