is it worth it to affiliate as a 3rd year transfer

by: E

I go to a large southern state school. I'm in the "top" sorority there and I've considered transferring to UVA this coming spring. I don't know a soul at UVA. Is it worth it to affiliate?

Normally, if someone transfers to my current school, they don't affiliate beyond sophomore year. BUT... I've taken a year off from school and would technically be a senior at my current one. Just looking for advice, I guess.

If you don't affiliate, how the heck do you meet people? Besides class or organizations that probably a lot of 1st/2nd years join?

probably not worth it tbh, greek life here is mostly for freshmen/sophomores. I'm sure you'd make friends just fine here without it. The atmosphere isn't as closed off to non greeks as it is at some schools, including yours probably.
