Snap bidding is a way to place cross cut girls into a chapter & help a chapter who didn't make quota. It can have the end result of strengthening a chapter when all is said and done by changing an unhealthy emphasis on qualities that don't ultimately work to the benefit of the individual members. So lots of snap bids this year may be the best thing for Kappa.

i'm not trying to be rude or anything but are there any public school girls in kappa or theta that aren't legacies or fabulously wealthy? i'm genuinely curious, i really am not trying to be offensive

Snap bids are handed out because a sorority didn't meet quota. That should speak for itself.

The most important thing about recruitment is to trust in the process and not drop out if you are cut by your favorite house. Each day look at the ones you still have because they actually like you. Stay in until the end and you will find your home.
