I'm transferring to UVa int he fall, and I'm def interested in the Greek system there, and will prob rush. I do have one question...I do watch the TV show 'Greek' (sigh, I know, but it's a guilty pleasure...), and yes, I know it's not a complete representation of Greek life. But, I do know the creators of the show attended UVa and were involved in the Greek system there. Anyway, at one point, one major storyline was an annual ranking, on campus, of the sororities there...does UVa have something like that, or was that just something they made up as a plot point?

Why isn't Sigma Delta listed here? I know they're not 'official' yet, but still...

SaraG ftw. Who cares how others perceive you as long as long as you're with people you like? Isn't the point of a sorority to be with your FRIENDS. Just sayin'. Also, why would you want a social climber boyfriend (logic being that he, in a top frat, would only want to date a girl in a top sorority)?

heyyy, do alot of girls rush 3rd year? I'm transferring to UVA and would like to since it seems like a great way to have fun and get to know people, but I don't know if it will be harder to fit in if I'm joining later than most do.

I am a rising senior and I have seen Gamma Phi make the most progress of any since I've been here. They used to be towards the bottom but I think now they are definitely in the middle tier. Just posting this to give them props for all their hard work.

Um, no. Gamma Phi, at best, is top of the bottom tier. But to call them mid-tier is just wrong, and an insult to the sororitys that actually are mid tier. Nice try, Gamma Phi.
