Ladies we lose so many PNM's each year because they don't get selected to certain houses. The negative comments and rankings on this site has a big influence on the decisions these PNM's make. If we all support each other then panhellenic will have a positive influence on the PNM's decisions and all of the houses will benefit.. The reality is that there are only so many spots for women in upper tier houses. Let's not lose PNM's because of some negative comments seen on this site.

I agree so much with the post below me. And honestly, the whole "tier" based rankings don't even reflect which sororitys girls really WANT to join. Even though certain sororities are ranked as "top tier," during rush they weren't what most girls wanted to be a part of. Generally, "lower tier" sororitys that had normal, nice, but fun girls were what everyone wanted. So stop bashing sororitys on here just to make yours look better. Every sorority is different and just because it doesn't fit the typical sorority mold doesn't mean it isn't worth joining.

You can break it up however you want it, but this is basically how it is:

1st Tier: Kappa, Theta, DG, Pi Phi
2nd Tier: Alpha Phi, DZ, TriDelt, ZTA, KD
3rd Tier: AXO, XO, SK, ADPi, Gamma, Tri-Sig

But keep in mind, this really has nothing to do with the quality of the sisterhood, how involved the girls are, or how much fun the sorority is. It's basically based solely around how exclusive they are.

I agree with "Tiers..." (a few posts below me). Everyone shouldn't take these ranks too seriously; they have nothing to do with anything meaningful.

Generally, I think girls in the middle & lower tiers absolutely love their sorority while many of the "upper tier" girls just join, not because it was a good fit for them, but because of the "status." Although the comments on here can give you a good feel for what the house is like, ignore the rankings & just find a good match for you!

Seriously. I crack up at the people who keep tweaking the sorority tiers by moving one house. I feel quite confident some people spend more time trying to get the sorority tiers absolutely "perfect" than they do on homework. Give it a rest. People....the lists are practically the same over and over.
