The sororities at UVa clearly offer one avenue for enhancing interpersonal skills-interviewing, leadership of an organization, running a business meeting, social graces, philanthropy, empathy for someone not exactly like yourself. Some girls have the advantage of mothers, sisters, aunts & friends who taught them some of these skills before college. Some girls are still learning. It especially takes courage to put yourself out there in Recruitment if you are less polished. These are all acquired skills. What can ISC do together to raise the quality of the Greek experience for those "rough gems?" The Greek system is only as strong as its weakest link. Leadership workshops? Dale Carnegie seminars? Laws of Leadership? ... Start THINKING...

These are the frats that sororities generally, not exclusively, mix with. I'm missing a ton of fraternities because idk who they mix with, but based on "ranking" you can probably guess. Also it should be noted that sororities mix with a ton of different fraternities and vice versa, and that this list is just who they mix with the most, from what I've heard.
KKG/KAT - DKE and The Hall
DDD - Elmo
PBP - No idea, but I have a feeling that they mix with a wide range of top tier fraternities
DG - Phi Psi
DZ - I know they've mixed with Phi Psi, but idk who they normally mix with
APhi - Sigma Chi (I think) and some others, and their philanthropy is with Fiji
ZTA - Phi Society and Sami
KD - No clue, probably Sami and other frats around there
SK - They started off boys bid night at Delta Sig, but I know they mix with Sami too
CO - No idea
ACO - Not sure, but they started off boys bid night at Sig Nu I think
ADPi/GPhi/SDT/SSS - Generally the same frats like DU or AEPi or something

social rankings are ridiculous. Every sorority has something to offer. i have friends in "good ones" and friends in "bad ones" and, frankly, it's all ridiculous. Regardless, any sorority being on social probation should be the business of its members and no one else, and hearsay speculation of these things should be no reason to say a sorority is "on the decline" or anything like that. Besides, UVA sororities do not haze; any kind of "probation" is generally just a result of getting caught breaking arbitrary ISC rules that EVERY sorority breaks, regardless of "ranking." SO everyone on here who is so concerned with all of these arbitrary titles should step back, relax, and try to see things from others' perspectives before judging.
