sorority comments

with comment below -- some APhi and Tri Sigs may be social climbers (not all), but I don't know any DZs or ZTAs that give a flip about what others think. Who knows, maybe they exist but I simply haven't met them. I do know quite a few though, and they're all pretty relaxed.

SDT: new but promising. They have a handful of hot girls. girls dont mind that they are new but mind that they dont have a house yet. once they get a house, this house is going to be a great pick.

ZTA: I really dont know much about ZTA and the few girls that I do know are mean and snobby but Im sure they house as a whole is that way. Please share what you know about ZTA.

This post isn't promoting any strat and I just wanted to have a post about the houses that almost the majority of the greek population is in. if you are in a strat please write about your strat and let people know how your house really is.

I love to see the comment "stop self ranking!" Because really there are only 2 types of ranking: self ranking and negative ranking. Self rankiing is when you give yourself all 5's or other inflated numbers you know the sorority doesn't deserve. Negative ranking is when you give a sorority all 1's because your jealous, someone dissed you, or you feel it necessary to correct self ranking.
No matter how you slice it, it makes this board irrelevant and petty.
Grow up. No one joined a sorority for the philanthropy. It a social thing and therefore ALL sorority girls are social climbers.

since I can't rank them, I just want to say that I was impressed with them during rush and also with their new pledge class, cute, fun, pretty, social, involved girls without the snobbiness and pretentious. i think people look down on them because they don't have a house, which is a turn-off, but they're definitely up and coming and i can't wait to see where they go in the next few years! definitely liked them more than tri-sig and gamma phi during rush.

Your categorization and labels are so completely offensive on so many levels! Grow up and quit acting like you're in high school! There are "nice girls" in every sorority. In fact, the vast majority of sorority girls I know are "nice". Similarly, there are "chill" girls in each group, and I suppose there are those that are concerned with status in each group. To label an entire group using a one word classification is juvenile and offensive to the Greek system at UVA. Seems like someone has an insecurity problem.
