why is gamma phi so lowly ranked?

I agree more or less with 2012 Rankings. Nobody I know thinks much about A Phi anymore. There's absolutely NO WAY they're on the same level as DG or even DZ like they once were. Their superficial, social-climb-at-all-cost practices that were revealed, coupled with some of their members behavior on grounds, has made their last couple of pledge classes weak.

On the other hand, I think Chi O, along with SK, has had some better-than-their-average pledge classes. Most of the others have more or less stayed the same.

UVAs rush process is cruel. They have no problem taking $55 from each girl and to have aboit half drop out of the process. Cha-ching!!!!! Nice racket they have going here. What is the $55 for?

Even though Pi Phi comes close, Kappa and Theta are pretty much undeniably on their own level above the rest. DG isn't a part of Thursdays, so it's difficult to put them on the same level as Tri-Delt and Pi Phi. A-Phi gets a lot of hate and has dropped in recent years, but it's still on the same level as DZ. I'm unsure why people have been ranking ZTA so highly; it's definitely a part of the middle tier. SK has improved during the past two years.

There are 2 events for Greeks that say it all. The drunken joy of Foxfield. Then sorority rush, aka BLOOD BATH week. That humorous week where 1st year girls spend all their money to look their best. They are then judged by groups of girls based on their looks, clothes and their parents assets. Today was tearful Sunday as many learned they didn't make the cut. Tomorrow is bid day where many others will be left feeling they were not good enough without stopping to realize the girls judging them aren't that hot themselves.

Tell me again, UVA, why is this allowed and even encouraged?

in no order kappa, theta, pi phi, dg and tri delt are the top 5 and any other is irrelevant
