I don't agree with either the sorority or fraternity rankings at all, honestly, but that's only because I'm aware of the newest pledge classes. Here's what I'd put:
Sororities (Tiers aren't in exact order)
1. Pi Phi, DG (really beautiful pledge class with great personalities, they have a VERY bright future), Alpha Phi, Tri Delt (pulled in a great pledge class despite the snap bids)
2. Theta (they had to hand out a lot of snap bids, but weren't as successful with them as Tri Delt), Kappa, DZ, ZTA
3. SK, AXO, KD
4. XO, Gamma Phi, ADPi
5. SDT (TriSig is gone starting soon)
Frats will be on the next one.

Your frat rankings are pretty accurate. Although I personally think DU/theta chi are better than phi society and sig pi, especially after this rush.
Phi psi is pretty high up there as well, not sure about that.

For sure. Sigma Pi looked to be on the rise early this year, but they've completely fallen back off the map. They are hardly relevant.

Dear Coeds:
You are all at UVa. It is one of the finest universities IN THE WORLD. Look beyond the myopic view of the Mad Bowl, right? As Moms, we are so proud of you. (Myopic in our view, no doubt, but we love you.)
As members of the Greek system, we know what it is like to go through rush at a southern school. The oblique nature of a subjective and secretive process like rush is not a feel good -- not even for people who got their first choice, because many times, friends get left out.
Furthermore, we were on the phone with you late night and bit our lips regarding the ins, the outs, the tears, the confusion, the elation, and now the bitter struggle to pledge, party and not fall thru the academic floor or wind up in the ER due to alcohol poisoning or hypothermia from certain "bonding" activities.
You are where you are b/c you are smart and good at taking tests while you balance an insane roster of EC's. Now be WISE.
Enjoy the next 4 years and stop worrying about the Greek food chain. Stop devouring one another on these silly lists.
The big orange V is the most important letter in your repertoire at the moment. Enjoy your friends. Enhance the community-at-large. Make good grades. Do something worthwhile that you didn't think you could or would ever do and while you are doing it -- make good friends that will last a life time.

Move APhi down one, they lost all their good PNMs to DG. And put Pi Phi in APhi's spot. Also Zeta did really well too this year.
