2025 rush analysis

The rankings I'm using are not important, just grouping the frats by who cross rushes with who (generally, also not that important). But I'm sure some of you will ignore that and complain about it anyway.

T1:
DKE- their recent classes have been just okay in comparison to years past, but they’re still one of the top houses. that should continue.
elmo- same thing, they could jump DKE. SA rumors also a consideration (IDK if they’re true at all).
zete- will benefit from ksig being kicked off, they generally heavily cross-rushed with each other.
hall- same as zete. they could make a jump, some say they’ve been sliding the last couple of years, IDK if thats true.

T2:
SAE- their darties have helped them to jump phi psi imo. but that’s really just splitting hairs.
phi psi- should be a typical year for them, may benefit from a couple of the suspensions. They have an established brand, dont expect that to change.
chi phi- they beat a hazing investigation last year, TBD how that affects them. ksig being kicked off will benefit the other quad houses.
sig chi- should be a typically year for them. pika, ksig, and theta chi being gone helps.

T3:
beta- same as sig chi.
SNU- same as sig chi.
sammy- the fall semester suspension will definitely hurt them in rush, will underperform vs recent years.
DU- should be a typical year, dont know much about them.

T4:
pikapp- probably will benefit from theta chi being gone?
serp- that house is being wasted. might benefit from ksig and theta chi getting the boot?
dsig- renovated their house so that should help, location doesn’t though.
phi society- supposedly they’ve reigned in their ridiculous hazing. if they have they should do well.

T5:
phi delt- they have their niche. don’t know much about them.
chi psi- same as phi delt.
AEPi- unironically the whole gaza thing might help them, encourage jewish rushees to join.
asig- supposedly theyr’e getting the pika house. not this year though so IDK that that’ll help yet. plus they’ll lose it in a couple years when pika comes back anyway.

T6:
pi lam- they were suspended, doesn’t help.
sig pi- can they even rush this year bc of the fire? IDK.
ATO/TKE/TDX/SPE- good luck to them. hope SPE gets the pledges to get their house back but they probably wont.
ZBT- recolonizing this year. good luck to them.

T7: kicked off houses (in order of when they got in trouble)
FIJI/128- I think all of the pre-incident brothers graduated last year. means quality will decline.
KA- will get their FOA back in 2026 if I had to guess. don’t know if that helps them this year though.
ksig- they’re losing their house after this year. honestly its foolish of them to try to go underground, hurts their chances of getting their FOA back in the future. if I had to guess they’ll just do ok this year.
pika- AFAIK they’re actually disbanding and will not rush anyone.
theta chi- they’re going underground and will rush still. they won’t be a factor at all. can’t do what fiji and KA have done.

good luck to all the houses. don’t take this too seriously, this is just my 2 cents. sounds like rush signups are up from previous years which is great. I expect some houses to make jumps this year with the latest suspensions, we’ll see how things shake out. I hope the BoV brings some much needed changes to admin soon to help out greek life. overall, I think it’ll be a good year, feel free to share your own thoughts/ what you’re hearing.
