Sigma Pi Burns Down

The Charlottesville Fire Department received the first calls for a fire at the Sigma Pi Fraternity house on Virginia Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
No injuries were reported, but the fire department says as a result of the fire, significant structural damage was incurred, and 13 students have been displaced from their home.
CFD is still looking into the cause of the fire as this remains an active investigation.
