Do the top frats actually take kids from open house? Ive met a few kids and get invited to parties some of the time, but hear about other events I don't make it too. As an international, I've been told Elmo is my best chance, but I have been focused in on the Hall. A mentor from a club im in said the hall likely will hold my background against me, but also implied Elmo hides a bad reputation behind a facade of good parties and diversity. Would love genuine advice

Yes, every frat takes kids from open house (most years)

Elmo and Hall both probs take the most amount of international kids, so being international won’t hurt you either way. Also, the top frats do take open house kids. I’d say at least DKE Hall and Elmo usually take at least 3-5 open house kids each year, Zete usually takes less.

You should be totally fine. They typically take at least a few guys from open house. Also, if you got invited to any events at all during dirty rush it helps a ton. They can't invite every rushee to every dirty rush event, so don't think that holds you back

This year has been different. I’d say last year top frats would take 3-5 open house guys. But because of the depth in dirty rushing this year, that number will be much lower.

It varies, I doubt they would count anyone out, just be cool and you’ll be fine
