Fraternity Tiers
by: supIt feels like rankings and tiers here are so set it stone. Is it possible for middle or lower tier fraternities to move up and if they did would people actually respect them?

it's really easy for frats to move down the rankings, very hard to move up. most sororities already have a pretty heft social calendar, so adding a fraternity is pretty difficult. that being said, anything that negatively affects a frat's reputation (being kicked off campus, SA allegations, rumors) may cause srats to drop the fraternities and their ranking to drop

There is more mobility among the mid frats who mix with a lot of the same sororities.
One good pledge class for a mid frat definitely means a lot more than one good pledge class for a lower frat.
