ISC can't really do anything about how a particular chapter runs its business, especially if they have their national office approval.

Sig Ep initiates as soon as PNM's accept their bids and pay their fees. Then they're stuck.
If you're initiated in a frat or a srat you can't join another frat or srat without your former nationals' written permission.

I’m loling at this, so typical of them. Lots of ppl on Greek rank warning PNMs about how horrible Aphi is and also the negative opinion of so many uva students should’ve been enough to let these girls know to run as fast as they could but the type of girl that joins Aphi typically doesn’t have much substance anyway so she’s probably where she belongs

plenty of sweet girls join. I know a few of them. The problem is the sorority culture itself makes one’s social capital correlated to the number of date functions you get an invite to— rather than how fun or funny a person is.
Their Instagram only posts hot sisters, so if you get posted on the Insta it’s a “big deal”.
Girls literally have Quotas to attend frat parties and if they don’t go they get fined. This is a nationals thing.
So you can be the sweetest girl, but joining a sorority that puts so much pressure because of the above, can change anyone. Or at least alter priorities.
I just don’t want people to think an aphi=mean girl because that is not true. I think aphi as a sorority culturally promotes toxic behavior, making the quiet sweet girls there a lot more “quiet.” They are still there- just no one talks about it.

A summary of the big long one they deleted is that basically:
1. 99% school doesn’t respect the sorority mostly because of being shallow and elitist. When you see the letters on campus you don’t immediately think “wow this must be a genuine quality person”
2. The fact they have meetings to address cattiness should not be surprising because the 1% of girls who actually WANT to join this kind of sorority is the kind of girl whose self worth is based on men thinking they are “hot” such that the would rather be miserable but on an invite list than have a sisterhood that actually respects their sisters.

Seriously, they suck and a lot of girls recognized that during recruitment which is why they had to give out snap bids but their last 2 PCs have been disasters
