They hang out with a lot of the same crowd and they tend to cross rush. Socially, their experiences are similar in the context of UVA greek life, main difference is vibe of brotherhood

Sammy lives on Greek Rank so I’d take all the comments with a grain of salt since you don’t know where they’re coming from.

Sammy has two really big parties that are super fun and the other are still fun but relatively mid

Theta Chi has more parties that I’d say are less fun than Sammy Western/Sammy Water but more fun than Sammy’s other parties. Having Bull Moose is also huge because live music always hits different and it seems like larger crowds come for the band.

Both are great options with super chill brothers and mix with exactly the same sororities (except I think where Sammy has Theta, Theta Chi has DDD). But also both mix with mid tier DZ/AXO/ZTA

Sammy has bigger parties usually but project ox last year was really fun and they packed their house and backyard. Both mix with the same sororities tbh
