tomorrow is a big day of cuts for a lot
of houses and you will probably be cut from
one you really liked. this is not a reflection of you or your worth at all it is just how the computer works and at this point is super random. just keep your head up you’ll find your home!!

This is totally incorrect! We use a process at uva called RFM, "Release Figure Methodology." The top 3 srats can invite back many fewer girls than lower ranked srats because they know that 98% of PNMs will want them back. It's like an inverted funnel; the invite backs are much lower for the top tier and gradually increase in number as you go down the line.

That means it’s even harder to get asked back to the most popular srats so it underscores the point that it’s not personal and it’s a Numbers game.

it’s based both on historical rush data and how the pnms rank the houses. So if a house is often ranked low by pnms in the past couple years and this year, they will have to invite more people back

Seriously, the more selective houses that are super popular can only bring back the same number of girls that every other house else can. You can be awesome and be cut because there are a few equally awesome girls that also know more people in the house, or have a sister or cousin or friend there, and so you get cut.
