hidden girls

I’ve heard some nasty rumors about sororities that hide girls during rush, as in don’t let them talk to girls rushing because they’re not as pretty or something. Is this true? If so what sororities do this??? I’d really hate to join a sorority just to find out they treat sisters that way. Thanks!

Yes, this happens at many srats. More often when nationals are present and involved with recruitment.

But it happens on srat instas too

Alpha Phi does this as dictated by their disgusting national organization. Can you imagine how you'd feel if you weren't deemed pretty enough to meet the PNMs???

I am in a sorority at UVA and can confirm that sororities, including my own, do this. It can be for a number of reasons why strats do this though, not just for looks. A girl may not be good at rushing people or carrying conversation, may be on social probation, or gotten reported during rush for talking about banned topics

my more “bottom tier” sorority does not do this at all. I think aphi and zeta are known for this though

Nationals has an influence on the type of culture the sorority has.

When Nationals is there for rush it can get rough.
