Just putting this out there…

Idk what first year girl needs to hear this but the main purpose of a sorority is to make friends, not to make sure your name is on a party list. You’ll prob drop bc you’re miserable and surrounded by fake friends while wasting thousands of dollars. If you’re only concern is mixing with frats maybe you should work on your social skills and learn how to be friends with guys on your own.

this!!!! girls in “lower” sorority ues get invited to “top” frats all the time. it’s all about MAKING FRIENDS ON YOUR OWN to get into frats and the sorority is about having a place to make friends that are similar to urself.

PNMs - look for a house where you fit in and girls who will support you and help you grow as a person, not backstab you or tear you down - most of the srats at UVA have strong sisterhood so go find yours!

EXACTLY!! parties are only fun if you’re with people you actually like. I’ve been to parties at “top tier” frats that were lame af and parties at “bottom tier” frats that were super fun. just go wherever you feel like yourself!!
