Pls be honest- are sororities worth it
by: HiHi, so I’m an incoming freshman and I was wondering (pls be honest) if joining a sorority is really worth it. If u could go back again, would u join your sorority? Is Greek life at uva catty?

No please do not join them unless you are actually willing to be super into it and devote a lot of time. Lots of uva girls join because everyone else does but end up liking/having closer friends in their other extracurriculars. Ik some lower tier srat girls who love their sisterhood but half the time you ask someone what sorority they’re in here they hesitate and get embarrassed to admit they’re in one lol. Greek life is so dead here. Dont join unless that’s what you want your entire social life/circle to be, otherwise it’s a waste of money and time.

if you want to know where the cattiness is... just look at the continuous arguments on this site if there’s a big 5 or not.... its just exhausting
