no one actually knows, they just make it up to feel better about themselves

My roommate is in pi phi so here is my take:

I think they’re that high partly for historical reasons and the fact they are in Thursday’s.

They also recruit mostly for personality/accomplishments, so the girls are usually really nice, fun, and involved. They don’t really hang out with a specific frat per se, but a lot of of the girls have close friendships with guys in top frats and lower frats, hence the “sweet hearts” of rugby road rep.

THAT said, I feel like other sororities have girls with the same characteristics, so it’s a bit outdated to say Pi Phi is inherently better or top. I think they’re just different which is why people like them?

DG is 100% higher than DZ because they mix with better frats and can be more selective during rush. Period. And this is from someone not in DG!!!! DZ thinks it’s better than the other middle tiers and it just isn’t they did not do well this year

Look at the down votes. Literal proof . If you actually go here you know it goes

AXO/ZETA/DZ (not ranked w in row)

it is true that there are some of the “better” frats that DG mixes with and DZ does not (SAE, Phi Psi, Kappa Sig, occasionally the Hall) but other than that the frats they mix with are the same. After this years rush though, DG has definitely fallen to DZ. not sure if this will change frat relations in the future
