Do I have a chance with COB

So my suicide bid for my fav stat didn’t work out and now I’m on the COB list... do I have a chance with informal recruitment? Or should I assume I have to wait till next year

If your favorite srat didn’t work out and you felt compelled to suicide, why would you be happy with a house that would offer you a cob?
