yeah?? Is it a radical thought to be upset at a deeming website calling you and your friends less than?? Is it crazy to be upset that pnms take this seriously and treat you rudely? Glad it doesn’t impact you negatively, truly, but it’s also kind of a privilege to not care when it doesn’t impact you negatively lol

sorry trying to clarify, are you saying because it doesn’t impact the entire greek system negatively that the whole greek system shouldn’t care? So those on the top of this mythical hierarchy have no obligation to give af about those harmed by it? And that those at the top perpetuating their “top” positions either by calling others “bottom” or staying silent when they are, are not contributing to that harm? I’m not saying there isn’t cattiness that affects the “top sororities” on this website nor that the “top” is the only one bashing the “mid/bottom“ (certainly they bash one another to not be the next one on the chopping block or whatever), but it’s so evident that the entire tier system is actively harmful to women and “not caring” and allowing it to continue doesn’t help anyone

i was agreeing that bumping “ranks” is harmful to the entire greek system. people who say “you’re just offended 🤪” are missing the point that it can really affect some people, either by offending those in the sororities or causing PNMs who would’ve found a sisterhood and opportunities to drop out of rush from fear of being perceived as lesser than (which doesn’t really even happen at UVA, just on this site). and it perpetuates the idea that greek life is judgemental/fake

So does it bother you that UVA isn’t an ivy league school? are you offended that people rank your school less than Harvard and jobs take you less seriously? Everyone ranks everything and you can’t just make people stop so I feel like the best way to deal with it is to not give rankings the negative attention they want.
