which round typically has the most cuts?

Do the cuts between rounds start off big early on, or does the amount cut increase with each round?

I would say there is a big cut between philan and house tours, so you'll have around half of the amount you had at philan? (Just an estimate)

It really varies year by year, but yes there are normally pretty big cuts between philan and ht. My biggest advice would be to try and focus on the ones that invite you back, give them a chance even if they weren’t your first choice, and stay open minded!! All the sororities have something great to offer and will give you lasting friendships! Best of luck!

I agree with this. There will also be big cuts before pref so try not to get hung up on this, just focus on convos and being memorable (in a good way)

Yeah there's always a big cut right before house tours just because of the way the numbers work. It's just important to remember that 99% of the time getting dropped is not personal and that if it didn't seem like a perfect fit to that chapter, then that's not the house you want to be in anyway. Most important to keep an open mind and foster a relationship with the girls in the rounds to come!

It definitely depends on the house. Some houses do their big cuts earlier on, whereas others do their big one right before prefs.

I've heard that due to number of PNMs this year (and other factors), they're doing more cuts earlier on across the board.
