just get off this site. everyone who posts here has an agenda and y’all are too young to realize that. you will end up regretting if you make decisions off this site and have to live with that for the rest of your 4 years here. i know it’s click-baity and y’all are stuck inside and bored but the only good advice on here ever is to get off

it’s so easy to tell when girls have preconceptions, positive or negative. rush works out for the girls who are genuine and want a sisterhood, not a certain house. trust me everyone is gonna drop you by the end if you already want a certain house/think you’re too good for certain houses bc you’re probably like 18 and bad at being subtle

If you're a legacy because your mom was in the sorority at UVA, then it's ok (but only at prefs) Otherwise, it doesn't matter when ranking PNMs so there's no reason to say that your aunt was in the same srat at Western Kentucky State or whatever

Chances are they already know. Don't bring it up unless it's relevant to the conversation. If you should bring it up it should be like a fun fact and NOT like you're expecting it to get you anywhere. I know someone who at in-person rush brought it up at house tours because they literally walked past a composite her mom was in (she wanted to find her photo) and it was received well.

If you want to be happy, keep the houses where you have the best connections with the girls you talk to. If you keep a house just because of their reputation but you didn’t have the best convos, you’re doing this wrong. The objective of recruitment is to find your fit not join a house because of its reputation.

Notice how “top” tier sororities’ argument for rushing them is frat parties while “mid” and “low” tier sororities emphasize friendship. Which one seems more worthy of your time and money?

One super cringey thing during online Zoom is when is when the PNM is obviously distracted and not paying attention or even looking at their phone/another screen during a round. It’s one thing if you tend to look away while talking, another thing if you clearly don’t care. and we all definitely talk to our friends in other chapters so we’ll take note.

This Omg. I have friends I have been talking to in almost every chapter and PNM’s who are so rude to lower and mid tiers or have gone on their phones are getting blacklisted and dropped at almost every house. Don’t do it. Don’t be rude.
