Zoom rush is hard on everyone but it's even harder for smaller chapters and 'lower tier' chapters. It's a tad easier if you're Zete or DKE or Elmo or Phi Psi and every freshman rushing already know who you are and stuff. It definitely takes a lot of creativity and time commitment from the chapter to go out and recruit guys and not just hit up a no-bid list and grab all the morons who didn't get bids in the first place.

on one hand first years are desperate for a social group but on the other hand there’s no way to do a “good” job on zoom rush. really hoping the recent conversations about inclusivity in greek life and the social, professional, and leadership opportunities stand out more than wanting to be strictly top tier. UVA greek life is in a precarious spot and this years rush could decide if it goes up or down
