absolutely; if anything, you have an immediate conversation starter about your transfer experience. if youre asking about next fall though, that depends on who is eligible for informal recruitment. Informal is entirely dependent on what the ISC AND the chapter's nationals set as quota, so the list of sororities doing it varies from year to year and will not be set in stone until next september 2021. if you want to be able to meet women from all sororities, i would advise you to rush this spring semester. however, Informal is much more laid-back and I knew plenty of transfers who did it and it made their UVA transition and experience way better. it doesn't really matter what sorority youre in as much as the srat experience itself, so either way good luck and welcome to UVA!!!
