Recs are very important this year since rush is virtual a lot of srats will be looking at these when making their round 1 cuts

If rush was normal this year rec letters would have little weight at all. They might help you get through the first round if you didn't make your best impression that day, but if you need a rec letter to make it through then that house isn't the right fit for you. Every chapter does it differently, but how you actually interact with the members usually matters way more than a rec letter or legacy status. They might hold more weight this year just because rush is online, but at most it will prob just get you a second look.
TL;DR Don't stress about rec letters -- personality matters way more.
