Legacies read this!

Girls, just because you’re a legacy somewhere does NOT guarantee you a bid there. 1. There are way too many legacies going through recruitment for all of them to get a bid 2. Legacy status doesn’t mean much, some srats are no longer obligated to invite you back after first round. It’s so annoying to hear girls say they’re going to rush and join XYZ because they’re a legacy and when sororities hear about that it makes them want to cut you to get your ego in check.

I’m in Aphi and we no longer give consideration or any advantage to legacies. Sorry but it’s a national policy. I believe Theta is the same way and I think Tri Delt and a couple other houses are this way as well.

APhi has been at UVA how long??? I mean the current version, not the first version that AP Nationals shut down because the girls weren't "cute" enough.

Not very likely that there are many PNMs whose moms were AP at UVA... unless they were teen moms, lol

It depends on the srat. For some of the better ones at UVA, being a legacy helps.
