initiate or not?
by: PledgeORpledgeNotAnybody else rethinking Greek life and thinking of dropping before initiation? I didn’t land in the right place and was already getting annoyed with so much forced socializing with people trying way to hard. Being home with real friends brought me back to my senses.

If it’s the wrong fit then don’t force it. If you Think it’s better to finish pledging and get initiated and then determine your engagement then, you can do that too. I think the latter option is probably better especially if you’re pledging somewhere with a tough process - worst case you don’t need to be that engaged and can just go to parties and date functions and invite your other friends. I have friends in houses who are barely engaged; obviously it’s not what the brotherhood wants or is ideal but if that’s what works for you it’s your life. I’d stick with it though - you don’t know how you’ll feel a year later and you can always drop later if you really don’t like it.

Agree. Kid sounds like a major whiney douche. I wouldn't accept him with my bros knowing the back story. Hey bud grow a pair or go home, you're a dime a dozen bro
