can second year transfer get into top/good frat

I was popular in high school (still am, just dislike the kids at my uni) preppy, and seriously miss throwing down in the woods with three kegs every Friday. Want to do this again at a top tier frat, cause lets be honest, they get the hottest chicks. Would being a second year transfer hurt my chances? I don't have any connections at UVA, cause most of my friends at good/top frats go to Penn State or Clemson

Being a second year doesn't matter much. What you should be asking yourself is whether you went to private school or not, and how much your parents make. These are the factors "Top tier" places like DKE and Elmo take into account.

Unlikely but not impossible if you already know guys from your elite prep school and your dad pays your fees for last year so that you're caught up and not costing the frat money
