what to do now?

by: thx

I ended up dropping because I didn’t feel as if I would be a good fit for my pref houses. I’m a third year so rushing again is not an option. What can I do to meet new people and not feel left out of the Greek social scene?

Get a boyfriend or boyfriends that are greek

Not getting a bid as a third year is rough but at that point most people go to bars rather than frat parties anyway.

You could still get invited to semiformals etc without being in a sorority

I don't get why people downvoted this because it's true?

Not just partying with fraternity brothers but finding a soul mate and husband. A lot of people do that.

I was more asking what clubs and stuff can I join to meet fun people who also go out and party. Wanted to find more girl friends through a sorority but now looking for other options

A lot of non-"Greek" orgs have great social life and cheaper dues and no rules, no Nationals BS

Do you have any hobbies? Sports, music, books, etc?

obv this is not non greek life advice but look into COBing somewhere. rush is a super weird process and very dependent on the girls you get so if you rlly liked somewhere, reach out to their vp-m or someone you did vibe with and looking into their cob process. also snap bids are a thing.
