The vast majority of pnm's here who do not get a 'spot' is because they drop out. They only want a certain house or two and will not consider any other options, despite actually being wanted at other houses. The difference at UVA is in the entitled attitude. So.... basically growth in the sorority community is being held back by the lowest performing member sororitys. That is evidence that speaks for itself that there's demand for a new sorority.

If every sorority has a different set of values and a different philanthropy, then why don't they recruit on those rather than parent wealth, clothes and physical appearance?

Don't be too hard on the sororities who value looks. Social media is really important to them, maybe more than real life. Focus on your GPA instead
