most involved currently?

Just speaking from my experiences with certain sororities (please don't take offense and realize this is just my opinion)

ADPi/SSS/SK/TriDelt/GPB/KD/XO - From what I have seen they all have great sisterhoods, are involved in a lot of other groups on grounds, have great philanthropies, and are for the most part really nice and friendly people.

Zeta/PiPhi/DZ - Really great and fun girls. I have friends in many of these sororities and they are so sweet and friendly once you break the barriers. They are involved in many groups on grounds and are always smiling.

AXO - Honestly don't know much about them. I loved them when I rushed and have one friend currently in AXO. They are really funny and cool girls. The one girl I know is involved in other groups so I am assuming most of them are too.

KKG/DG/APhi - Most of them like to stay in their groups from what I have seen. Maybe it just means they have a tight sisterhood? As for involvement typically the girls I know in these groups put a lot into the sorority but are not involved in other parts of grounds. None the less everyone in the groups I have liked, I just don't fit in as well with them.

Theta - Cool girls from the people I know that are in it, but they usually stick to there own bubble, which is not necessarily bad. But in terms of involvement and openness I wouldn't rank them high. If you're looking for a place to party hard you would probably like Theta.

What barriers do you mean for the DZ line sororitys?
