preferences and bids

do a lot of people get dropped or do not receive a bid after preferences? or do you basically have an idea of where you’ll end up.

if you make it to pref and sign a card with two houses ranked after you’re guaranteed a bid from one of those two. if you suicide you’re not guaranteed a bid and if you drop before pref you aren’t either.
