2nd year transfer sorority chances

as a decently cool / pretty 2nd year transfer, will I be able to get in a top 5 sorority? Didn’t make a ton of effort to network with sorority girls this semester bc I figured I would trust the rush process. But now, reading comments about how cutthroat it can be if you don’t know anyone, I’m feeling unsettled. Any thoughts?

I've heard most (or all?) sororities are required to take some 2nd years. If you are actually cool and pretty, you will probably get in a top 5 since there are less second years rushing

No sorority is required to take anyone. People confuse Quota with meaning that a certain number has to be taken. That's not what Quota is .

If what you care about is being in what you think is a "top five," you might end up with everyone seeing right through you. Go in looking to see what you might have in common with each sorority and you'll come across as a decent person.
