How competitive/intense is sorority rush at UVA compared to big southern schools?
I've read online that after round robbins, PNMs list their four bottom houses. I've also read pref round is two houses. Any info on the house tour/philanthropy rounds, if it can be shared?

it is relatively competitive but not intense. You will lose houses you want and lots of girls will drop bc they believe what they have left doesn't fit them (at least 5 in each recruitment group I would say).
each round you try and drop 4 houses until after house tours when you pick your top 2 and then after pref you pick the one you want, you will most likely have to go back to houses you dont want to go back to and get dropped from places you want.
Don't go in with any expectations but don't be discouraged, you will find your place!

This is true for kappa and theta
Somewhat true for ddd and aphi
Not very true for pi phi as they tend to play more by the rules and get great girls during rush
