gpa effect on rushing

can sororities see your GPA/ is it important in terms of rushing/getting picked for a sorority? is there any benefit to having a higher GPA or is that irrelevant

Yeah they see it. Some sororities care more than others. If you’re below a chapters minimum, there’s a good chance you’ll get dropped after round robins. I know people that still got into sororities even though their gpa was technically below the minimum, though, so don’t stress. All sororities want to have a high gpa, so the higher the better.

would a high gpa be an advantage for a 2nd year? or does it really only matter if your gpa is low
