formal rush second year

i rushed first year and dropped bc i didnt like the houses i had left and i didnt do informal bc i figured it was too competitive. i have several friends who are in different sororities, should i let them know im interested in their sorority? im a little scared im gonna rush in the winter again and still not get the house i want

As long as your gpa is above like a 3.3, you have extracurriculars, and don’t have bad convos you have a good shot

Let them know you are specifically interested now and before rush. It will remind them to let their sisters know who you are when you walk through the door. Name recognition is more likely to get you through than being forgotten.

Tbh if you are good friends with them, they’ll know and fight for you. If you’re reaching out to people that you aren’t as close with, they may get the vibe you’re using them...
