dropped out of rush other options?
by: Life sucksI got dropped from all my favorite sororities after house tours. My friends ended up in these sororities. What are my options? Do I have to wait till informal again? Or do I have the possibility for a COB? Idk I feel really sad and I just want to a join a sorority I fit in with.

I asked a roughly similar question earlier today. People said that 1. It does really help if a friend is in the sorority, tell them you are interested in their sorority for sure. 2. There is apparently an email this is going to be sent out with the names of sororities who are looking to give COBs. But what I gathered was that it is more likely to go down the friend in the house you want route.
I was dropped by my fave houses after house tours, so dropped out of the process as I didn’t click with my remaining houses.

Not necessarily. You made it to house tours! They must have liked you! It was just a big cut between house tours and prefs, I’m sure most sororities had to cut girls they liked. Anyway, it doesn’t hurt to try. Reach out to your friends and see how it goes.

I think formal works better for extroverts but cob and informal work better for introverts. So if you’re a little more reserved in crowds it can work against you. Don’t overthink it, it’s a numbers game as well. Stay positive!

I got cut after philanthropy and went from 11 houses to 3. All my favorites cut me so I like to hope I fell through the cracks but that many sororities didn’t want me is upsetting to hear. Can I even get a cob from a house that cut me so early?
