who gets cobs and snap bids?
by: PnmSo I have two houses left today for prefs but I’m only interested in one. I’ll be happy if I get a bid from one of them, but if not I don’t plan on joining the other I have left. Who is eligible for COBs and snap bids? If I got dropped after house tours am I eligible for either or did I have to make it to prefs? I had seven left for house tours and I really liked 4 of them but I only got one of those four back.

I think if you suicide but don’t match you are still eligible for snap bids. But I’m not positive. That’s a question for your Pi Chi, who is going to try to talk you out of suicide.
You might be better off dropping, then you are eligible for snaps and COB. Just make sure the houses you want know you want them.

Is no contact still happening? I’m also wondering how to express interest if we have no specific connections or friends in the sorority.

Not true. It depends year to year but top houses absolutely do snap bids. It’s got to do with the computer algorithm and houses that tend to rush the same girls.
